22-03-13 Goat Major Projects is proud to announce that its co-founder Richard Higlett has been awarded a Creative Wales Award from the Arts Council of Wales. The award is for research into a series of curatorial projects beyond Goat Major Projects while developing networks and associations that will form the foundations for a curatorial hub for ideas through Goat Major Projects. The working title for this project is: SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

Richard Higlett is an artist who has increasingly become engaged with the methodologies of the curator and the award will allow time out to investigate the practice of the 'artist as curator' through research and presentation.

"This is a fantastic opportunity to reconcile some fundamental questions in regards to my creative practice which is continually shifting in terms of definition. The time will allow me to meet and gather contacts nationally and internationally which I look to consolidate in the form of the curator lab. The aim here is to nurture links for collective benefit through creative international exchange."

Come and join us for an open discussion of ideas around the piece, its context and history. The talk will be held in the Printhaus Garden and Project Space. Refreshments available.
